Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how StyleStripe LLC, a Connecticut limited liability company ("StyleStripe," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and protects information when you use quickfilezap.com (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

Account information

If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google. We do not receive or store your Google password.

Files

We temporarily store the files you upload and the files we generate for you, solely to perform the conversion and (depending on your plan) let you re-download the result. See "File Retention" below for exactly how long files are kept.

Payment information

Payments are handled entirely by Stripe, Inc. We never see or store your full card number — Stripe shares with us only what's needed to manage your subscription (such as your plan status and a reference ID).

Usage & device data

To enforce free-tier daily limits without requiring an account, we set a cookie that identifies your browser/device. If you're signed in, we track usage against your account instead. We also keep standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps, and requested pages) for security and troubleshooting.

2. How We Use Information

• To perform the file conversions you request;
• To enforce the size and usage limits of your plan;
• To process payments and manage subscriptions;
• To respond to support requests sent through our contact form or email;
• To maintain the security, integrity, and reliability of the Service.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your uploaded files to train any model or share them with advertisers.

3. File Retention

• Free conversions: deleted from our servers approximately one hour after conversion.
• Single-use conversions: retained for 30 days, then permanently deleted.
• Pro conversions: retained while your subscription is active, and deleted after a grace period if it lapses.

Conversion is performed by software we run ourselves — files are never sent to a third-party conversion API.

4. Cookies

We use a small number of first-party cookies: a session cookie to keep you signed in, and a device cookie to apply free-tier limits to anonymous visitors. We do not currently use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

5. Third-Party Service Providers

We share information with the following providers, only as needed to operate the Service:

• Google — sign-in / authentication.
• Stripe — payment processing.
• Hostinger — hosting infrastructure for our servers.

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data.

6. Security

All traffic to and from quickfilezap.com is encrypted with HTTPS/TLS. Session cookies are marked HttpOnly and Secure. Access to production systems is restricted, and files are deleted according to the retention schedule above. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Privacy Rights

If you are a Connecticut resident, the Connecticut Data Privacy Act (CTDPA) — and similar laws in other states, if applicable to you — may give you the right to confirm whether we process your personal data, access it, correct it, delete it, obtain a portable copy of it, and opt out of certain processing such as targeted advertising or profiling. We honor these rights for all users, regardless of location, on request. To exercise any of these rights, email support@quickfilezap.com.

8. Data Retention

We retain account information for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we delete your personal information and remaining files, except where we're required to keep certain records (for example, transaction records for tax or accounting purposes).

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. International Users

The Service is operated from the United States, and information is processed and stored in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer and processing.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
